The Marwell Corporation K7 to 9s Adapter will allow the retro fit of a Landis & Gyr K7 meter socket to a 9s socket style meter. This adapter is a direct “bolt in” application without any modification to the meter socket. The ā€œK7-2-9sā€ adapter will allow the Utility to convert the service to a CT rated installation without the interruption of service to the customer. The “K7-2-9s” is equipped with LED bypass circuit which are activated automatically when the meter is removed, so a test switch is not required.

STANDARD FEATURES FOR GPC

1 Test data string electronically sent to GPC. IT numbers provided to Marwell or CR Magnetics Serial numbers and IT numbers placed on adapter. Numbers to be visible from side, on each adapter.
2 Adapter is equipped with 3, 300:5 CTs with an accuracy class of . 3% at B0.1 and B0.2. Rating Factor of each CT is 1.7 @ 30C and 55C.
3 Tin plated bussing.
4 Wire exiting the adapter to be 15″ length and colored to GPC specifications. 10V cable to be routed as shown to avoid damage to cables.
5 Adapter is equipped with acorn nuts on specific bolts for cable protection.
6 Adapter includes 1/2″, flanged nut. Each nut zip tied to adapter.
7 Adapter includes Gasket for around meter opening for weatherproof protection.
